At P&P Glass we are dedicated to achieving the best standards possible, delivering high-end home improvement glazing products fused with expert craftsmanship to Guildford, Surrey and South West London homes. Our proactive and positive approach to staff development, customer service and installation standards shines through our various industry standard registrations and accreditations. So, allow us to explain what they mean.
Assure is a UKAS-accredited Competent Person Scheme specifically for the glazing industry, officially authorised by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). It provides essential credibility that the windows, doors, rooflights and roof lanterns that we replace are fully compliant with Building Regulations. Once we’ve finished your project, Assure certification allows us to send your building compliance certificate which is a legal requirement.
The BSI Kitemark™ for window installation is one of the most prestigious quality marks in the industry, recognised as a symbol of high-quality, safety and trust. Encompassing a wide variety of aspects, rigorous third-party auditing processes are repeated on a regular basis to ensure a premium service is maintained.
DGCOS stands for Double Glazing & Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme. As a true indicator of trust, Double glazing installers must undertake a rigorous vetting process before achieving DGCOS accredited installer status. The main benefits of using a DGCOS installer are that you will receive free deposit protection, free stage payment protection & a free insurance backed guarantee, as well as access to free mediation & independent inspections to resolve any disputes or product faults.
The P & P training & development scheme allows us to engage more productively with our employees and develop and build upon their true potential. Adhering to a comprehensive standard of good practice for workplace development, we operate a fully funded training scheme for all of our installers who attend college for a minimum of two years to achieve a Level 2 NVQ trade qualification in carpentry and joinery.
Accredited installers offer homeowners valuable peace of mind that their property is in safe hands from beginning to end. For a fully accredited and reliable glazing service, contact a P&P expert today.
