Modern PVC Windows
An initial choice you will want to make is whether to have bevelled or ovolo shaped profile. Bevelled profile offers contemporary clean lines whilst ovolo profile offers a more detailed, sculptured finish.
This choice can often be influenced simply by your individual preference but may also be influenced by the style of your property.
Glazing options
PVC windows offer a range of glazing and design options to suit both performance needs and aesthetic preferences. Homeowners can choose between double glazing for excellent thermal insulation and cost efficiency, or triple glazing for enhanced energy performance and noise reduction—ideal for colder climates or busy areas. To complement traditional or heritage-style properties, decorative features such as astragal bars, leaded designs, or integral Georgian bars can be added. Astragal bars sit on both sides of the glass with a spacer bar inside, creating a true multi-pane effect, while integral Georgian bars are sealed within the glazing unit for a cleaner finish and easier maintenance. Leaded glass in classic patterns like diamond or square adds period charm, making these options perfect for blending authentic style with modern window technology.
