What size bifold do I need?

The size of your new bifold door all depends on the size of your aperture (opening). Standard bifold door sizes are only slightly taller than typical internal door sizes; around 2090mm – 2100mm tall. Available in a variety of configurations, our bifold doors can utilise panels from 2 to 22 doors wide.

  • Sunflex SF55s aluminium bifold doors can accommodate panel widths up to 1200mm, with 3500mm maximum panel height for narrower panels.

Top-hung vs bottom-rolling bifold doors

The terms ‘top-hung’ and ‘bottom-rolling’ refer to the way the bifold doors operates. All of our bi-folding door systems provide a bottom-rolling operation, which we believe is the best option available. This is simply because bottom-hung bifold doors are smoother to operate and quicker and easier to install.
