P & P Shortlisted for Surrey Business Awards 2009

Surrey Business 2009P & P Glass has been included on the shortlist for the Customer Service Award at the 2008/09 Surrey Business Awards.

The award winners will be announced on the night of Thursday 2 April at the Saville Court Hotel, Egham.

Successful Open Day raises £300 for the Chase Hospice Charity

Chase Hospice LogoThank you to all our customers who took the time to come in to our open day on Saturday. We had a fantastic day with over 250 people visiting the new showroom and have raised £300 for the Chase hospice care for children.

If you were unable to make it you are very welcome to call in any time during our opening hours Monday – Saturday.

The inspirational range of products on display including; windows, doors, French doors, folding sliding doors, two full size conservatories and an orangery created a real buzz, don’t miss your opportunity to come in and see for yourself.

P & P Glass win a Silver and Bronze Award in the Glassex 07 Conservatory Design Competition.

The Glassex Conservatory Design Competition, sponsored by Pilkington Activ, is a recognized platform to demonstrate the best of the UK glass and glazing industry and to reward excellence. Entries came from British companies with installations from as far a field as Australia.

With between 200,000 to 250,000 conservatories installed in the UK alone every year, to feature in the awards an entry had to be exceptional in all respects.

First company in South East to achieve new BSI Kitemark

P & P Glass are delighted to announce that following recent assessments of our installation practices and quality procedures we have been granted a licence to use the Kitemark for the survey and installation of doors and windows.

The BSI Kitemark is one of the most respected quality marks in the world, recognised as a symbol of quality safety and trust. P & P Glass are leading the way forward in improving the quality standards and reputation of the window installation industry and are currently one of only nine companies in the U K to have been awarded this standard. The Kitemark cannot be purchased and is only awarded following stringent independent testing and assessment of all parts of the business.
