For the second year in succession P & P Glass were finalists in the 'UK Installer of the year ' category.
G07 Awards presented by Rob Brydon: P & P glass won the Training and Development Award
At the GO7 annual awards scheme for the UK glass and glazing industry, P & P Glass won the Training and Development award for the second time, in recognition of the efforts it goes to developing its staff. The award was presented by the comedian Rob Bryden to Tom Scanlan and Richard Gilham. P & P Glass were also finalists in the 'UK Installer of the year ' category and the ‘Conservatory Installer of the year category’
The Glassex Conservatory Design Competition, sponsored by Pilkington Activ, is a recognized platform to demonstrate the best of the UK glass and glazing industry and to reward excellence. Entries came from British companies with installations from as far a field as Australia.
With between 200,000 to 250,000 conservatories installed in the UK alone every year, to feature in the awards an entry had to be exceptional in all respects.
P & P Glass we’re therefore delighted to win awards in the following two categories: Small Conventional – Bronze Award, Large Conventional – Silver Award

P & P Glass were finalists in the Customer service Award and the Excellence in Training and Development Award and were delighted to be crowned the winners in the Customer Service Award. The Award for the Best Customer Service in Surrey was sponsored by Barlow Robbins LLP Solicitors and The Institute of Customer Service.
"We are looking for an organisation that can demonstrate that customer service really is at the heart of its business, that it listens and responds to its customers, exceeds its standards and develops its staff" said Peter Hall, ICS Membership Director when discussing his judging criteria.
Glassex 2006 Competion - The Winning Design
The competition sponsored by Ultraframe, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of conservatories, is the conservatory industry’s largest and most prestigious design competition.
Short listed from entries from all over the UK, Europe and even as far as the United States, P & P Glass Ltd was presented with the award for its stunning conservatory design at Glassex 2006, the annual show for the glass and glazing industry.
The award winning conservatory is a sleek, contemporary styled extension with sliding doors which open out across the full width of the conservatory, bringing natural light and uninterrupted views of the garden into the home. The conservatory is finished in a striking turquoise, with blue tinted glass.
Jason Orme one of the judges and Editor of Move or Improve and Homebuilding & Renovating, said: 'This is a modern design which integrates well with the house, especially internally, and has a good use of colour. The end result is striking.'

2004 Commercial Conservatory Competion Winner - The Winning Design
At the Ultraframe Conservatory Competition, hosted by Ultraframe UK, the leading designer and manufacturer of conservatory roofing systems, P & P Glass won the award for the best commercial conservatory.
Short listed from over 500 national entries, P & P Glass were delighted to win the award which recognises the best in conservatory design and installation.
At the 2004 GO4 annual awards scheme for the UK glass and glazing industry hosted by the comedian Jack Dee in Birmingham, P & P Glass won the 'Training and Development Award'.
At the same awards P & P Glass were also one of the three finalists in the 'UK Installer' category, narrowly missing out on repeating the success achieved in the 1998 awards.
